Blogs and More, Coming Soon to CSDN, and We Need YOU!

What began as Climax - The Podcast continues to grow, evolve and expand into many realms of digital media and content creation. Climax-Scotts Digital Network, at long last, is starting to roll out some of its intended bigger vision and purpose. As times change, so too do the ways people connect. In the digital age, there is no "one way" to connect to everyone. At CSDN, we are going to try to be as close to that as possible for our beloved community of Climax-Scotts. And we will attempt to do this by covering the people, news and events of C-S through many means - means people can hear, means people can see and means people can...

READ!

This is the first of what will hopefully be many Blogs for CSDN. But, where, or where do we begin? I'm willing to bet a lot of people around Climax-Scotts likely have the same general question to start - What the hell is a BLOG?!

Well, if I'm being technical, I will go the Webster's route and say,"noun - a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style."

And to that point, my overarching goal for Blogs at CSDN is simple - Blogs can be anything we want them to be!

Could they be a hot news item? Yep! Could they be sentimental, hitting readers "right in the feels" as the kids might say? Sure! Could they be historical topics? You betcha! I could go on, but I think you see the pattern here.

And best of all, I would love these Blogs to be from everyone of all ages in our community! There are so many valuable perspectives, and I do not feel sharing the written voice of only one or two people reflects what's so special about an entire community.

There are a few things I have cooking in terms of getting additional contributors. In fact, there's something very special to me, and I believe it will be to many others as well, that we may be announcing in the next few weeks.

Most of all - I want to hear from YOU! If you would like to write a piece or pieces centric to Climax-Scotts, you can fill out the contact form on the CSDN Homepage or you can email admin@climaxscottsdigitalnetwork.com, Subject: Blogs.

This is just one more way CSDN intends to highlight our mission of offering Big Stories, Small Towns.
