Tomorrow morning, the hallways of Climax-Scotts Jr/Sr High School will be packed to the gills with crafts from over 120 vendors in the 10th Anniversary People Helping People Craft Show. The popular and highly-attended annual fundraiser benefits area families with portions of sales from every vendor and donations from the general public.
The benefactors of this year's fundraising are The Gilbert Family - Andrew, Angela, Logan and Ashlynn. Blessedly, Andrew is now in remission from his first battle with Mantle Cell Lymphoma, a form of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. People Helping People, coordinated by Climax-Scotts Difference Maker, Julie Tiller, has put together this year's Craft Show to raise money to help with costs from treatments Andrew has already completed and others the family knows he will need in the future.
There is much fun to be had this day and all of this is for a GREAT cause, helping make a positive impact on a family who has had a positive impact in the Climax-Scotts area for generations.
For those who will not be in the Climax-Scotts area tomorrow, even if you live far, far away, you will be able to help with contributions to The Gilbert Family. Over 120 crafters and vendors will be in every nook and cranny of the school - in every hall!
In The Panther Den from 10 AM - 1 PM, there will be Cookies with Santa! $5 includes Cookies, Milk and 4x6 Photo with Santa Claus himself!
Area Coupon Books supporting the C-S Junior Class will be on sale with proceeds to help this year's Prom.
The Music Boosters will have concessions open throughout the day. There will also be additional food and beverage vendors outside.
And there will be even more!
